HOUSE OF CARDS (12) These cards originated in Austria in 1850. I made a total of 21 cards. The size of each card is 42 X 76 inches. The images are on canvas stretched on each side of reinforced wooden frames with rounded corners, like regular playing cards.
My plan is to erect three houses of cards in various configurations in and around the Philadelphia area. Each house consists of seven cards, reaching a total height over 12 feet. In fields, lobbies, empty lots, at the Kimmel center, the stairs of the art museum, on barges, roofs or any place I get permission or permits. I got a certificate from my insurance carrier for liability purposed. I have two objectives: first and foremost is for exhibit to the general public and second for photographing them in the different locations.
